Green USA's Compost Permit Advancing - Marion County
IDEM will be accepting public comments on Green USA Compost LLC's permit for land application of composted materials. The permit will allow Green USA to accept industrial waste products for composting at its 2153 Hillside Avenue, Indianapolis facility. The company will also be allowed to then sell the finished compost.

Culpeper Wood Preserves Applies for Education Program in lieu of Fine
Shelbyville-based Culpeper Wood Preservers has applied to IDEM to count $8,000 in expenses for employee conservation training to count to offset $8,000 in state penalties. The training would teach employees how to reduct fossil fuel, water, and raw materials useage. View the application here:
